Yes... really. I have been playing and experimenting with my new Creative Basics dies and my new images from Angels Hearts and Memories.
Can you say LOOOOVE?!
I coloured up the images with no thought to what I was going to do with 'em next (some of you might have well-thought-out plans... me not so much lol). Colour first... panic later when the deadline is upon you ;-).
No panic. Pulled out my new toys and the cards basically made themselves.
So let's have a quick look at what I've used -
Firstly, all the cardstock (save for the Copic Xpress-it) is Stampin' Up; the papers are from my neverending stash (if you're in the neighbourhood... come help me use up more of it lol); dewdrops and ribbon from my stash.
Angela Bookworm:
Creative Basics dies - Fancy Squares & Little Things*; Basic Stitched Flags; Picnic Quilt EF (comes with TWO EF! Beautiful deep embossing with no paper tearing!)
*I used the half die to make the larger matte, a little tricky but very doable and makes this die set so much more versatile
Copics - BV00-E11-21-51-50-93 and R20-E04 Skin (for all the images); E43-50-53-37 Hair; E70-71-74 and E08-09 Pillows; Y11-E23-29 Eyes; B91-95-97 Shorts; V01-04-06 Shirt; E40-41 + multiliner Book Pages; V04-09 Glass Frames; BG0000 Lenses; YG95-97-99, BG70-72-75, RV91-95-99 Books
Coffee Time:
Creative Basics dies - Fancy Squares & Little Things; Cutting Edge Borders 1; Background Builders 1; Fancy Rectangles & Layers
Copics - E41-42-43-44-47 Hair; R08-29-39 Mug; E71-74-77 Pants; E84-87-89 Shirt
Ipad Ivette:
Creative Basics dies - Basic Stitched Flags; Background Builders 1; Fancy Rectangles & Layers
Copics - Y11-21-YR24-E37 Hair; RV23-13-14 Slippers & Bow; B000-01-04 Ipad Screen; B000-04 Eyes; RV10-21-13 Nightie
Wine Winnie:
Creative Basics dies - Fancy Rectangles & Layers; Basic Stitched Flags; Background Builders 1**
** I used the "straight" stitched piece and used it to "paper pierce" around the image!
Copics - Y11-21-YR24-E37 Hair; B000-04 Eyes; E30-35 Corks; YG91-93-97, R56-39-59 Wine Bottles; B91-95-97 Jeans; R05-29-39 Shirt; E71-74-77
Whew. I know that was a little long but I didn't want to skimp. Plus I know what it was like (and still is) when I first started colouring... ya need to know those deets.
If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.
