C.A.S.E.'n the DT

So... I'm playin' with the CASE'ing the DT Challenge on a Day for Daisies Blog.  The A Day for Daisies digital stamps are magical and delightful; a little abstract and a lot of dreamy.  They just make me smile.

I chose to use the freebie "Bird Ride".  Love it.  And my inspiration was taken from Design Team Member, Juliana's card layout and to use 3 designer papers.

Coloured with Copics.  Papers and embellishments Stampin' Up from "my stash".

Travel Time

No, not me lol, the "theme" for this week's June challenge on the Bugaboo "Catch the Bug Challenge Blog".

So, for my submission to the Travel themed challenge, I used "Girl with Kitty", one of the "Brat Collection" digis.

Coloured with Copics.  Papers and embellishments from my "stash" (mostly Stampin' Up).

Summertime

Love the Cute as a Button digis!  This is Summertime that I coloured up for an ATC size project.  My friend liked it so much I did another for her to give her elderly Mom (dark hair and brown eyed) and she was thrilled.  Will definitely be colouring her up again sometime.

As soon as I saw this image, that dang song popped into my head (you know which one lol... try to get that one outta your head now.  You're welcome haha) and I sung it and hummed it the whole time I was colouring and assembling this piece.

It is the Play-offs lol

Even tho' we're s'posed to be thinking of warm days, I couldn't resist show-casing this card and the two stamps I used from Kenny K.  I mean, really, even tho' neither of "my teams" are featured (Ottawa Senators or Boston Bruins), Stanley Cup play-offs and hockey are still a big deal in our home lol.

So the challenge (#196) at Kenny K is again "Anything Goes" but the optional twist is "One for the Boys".  So I have used Hockey Guy and Hockey Girl

Oh My... I am honoured!

Wow... this has been a week to remember.

I won the #195 Celebrate Challenge at Kenny K this week.  Just thrilled with that as I love his images and the Drama Queen just makes me smile everytime.

Then I just learned that I was one of the Top 3 on the Linnea Sprite colouring contest on the Aurora Wings Facebook Group.  Mitzi creates these oh-so-awesome fantasy images.  Some are very, very detailed and intricate and I have seen some fabulous creations of frameable artwork with her images.

AND I also made top 3 on Sassy Studio Designs Facebook Group with my Steampunk card on the monthly progressive challenge!

I was also lucky enough to win another couple stamps in some online games featuring new release stamps.

All this for doing something that makes me happy... painting/colouring/networking (as I really do consider the Copic markers just another form of "painting".

Recipe Books LOL

Decorated a few inexpensive journals (they're about 4-1/2" x 5-1/2") to use to keep track of the markers I use when colouring up images.

Image is from Cute as a Button and called "Sassy and Me"
